Kao the Kangaroo

Kao the Kangaroo is a platform adventure game in 3D technology, released in 2000. It conquered Polish market and remained for a considerable time at the Top 10 ranking list maintained by Empik network of shops. It scored a major success, as it sold in record numbers, exceeding 45 000 copies in Poland only. It was marketed world-wide by Titus Interactive, both for PCs and for Sega DreamCast™ console. Kao the Kangaroo owes its success both to attractive main character and to perfect graphic design. More than 30 levels, numerous funny characters, three levels of difficulty and interesting, sometimes demanding game attracted not only young users for whom it was designed, but also offered pleasant entertainment for more advanced players. It is important that the game functions smoothly even on PCs with Pentium 233, 32 MB RAM, which has considerably expanded the user market. Effective operation of the game at such weak PC configurations was enabled by thorough development of image display technology.
